Inspection and repair on Lohmann & Stolterfoht GVL 375-A gearbox

Scope of work:

We performed inspection and repair on a gearbox Lohmann & Stolterfoht GVL 375-A.

The conversion operations consists of:

• Disassembling, cleaning and inspection of the gearbox.
• Performing of the repair constructions.
• Deploying of the inspection report.
• Renewing of all seals, bearings and innerrings.
• The port side clutch pinion was badly worn and therefore replaced.
• Renewing of piston rings, piston return springs and new inner and outer cluch plates.
• Renewing of flexible hoses on the clutch pinion shafts.
• The mechanical oil pumps were inspected and cleaned.
• Re-assembling of the gearbox.
• Degreasing of the gearbox and conserving on the outside in excisting colour.
• Preparing the gearbox for shipping.
