Onboard inspection and repair of Lohmann Stolterfoht GUS 450B gearbox

Scope of work:

We performed inspection and repair on a gearbox LOHMANN STOLTERFOHT GUS 450B.

The conversion operations consists of:

• Our customer called us about alarms going off when switching gears. One of our engineers inspected the gearbox onboard. Problems with the oil pressure and coolers (only 2.5 degree centigrade difference between in- and outlet) were found.Reparação
  
• The gearbox is overhauled in our workshop in Oud-Beijerland. New parts were engineered by GBS and a new hydraulic diagram was proposed to the customer.
  
• The gearbox was reinstalled after the overhaul by one of our engineers.
