Scope of work:

We performed an inspection and revision on gearbox of FLENDER PEAC 4280,6.

The conversion operations consists of:

  • Disassembling, cleaning and inspection of the gearbox.
  • Performing of the repair constructions.
  • Controlling the gearings for bursts by means of magnafluxing.
  • Deploying of the inspection report.
  • Stoppoint.
  • Renewing of all seals, bearings and innerrings.
  • Renewing of diverse small items like, gaskets and bolts.
  • Re-assembling of the gearbox.
  • Surfacing of the bearingcaps with refference to thrust bearing clearance.
  • Controlling of the contact patterns and backlashes.
  • Performing a test run.
  • Degreasing of the gearbox and conserving on the outside in two coatings.
  • Preparing the gearbox for shipping.
